ABM Mushroom is rich in two Polysaccharides, beta-1,3 D-glucan and beta-1,6 D-glucan. The concentration of these compounds is higher in the ABM mushroom than in any other mushroom. Polysaccharides found in the ABM mushroom can restore and support the body’s immune system by stimulating the production of cancer-fighting lymphocyte T-cells, helper T-cells, interferon and interleukin. This causes the number of cancer cells generated in the body to decrease considerably. Polysaccharides in ABM mushroom were found to be effective against Ehrich’s ascites carcinoma (EAC), sigmoid colonic cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer and liver cancer as well as most solid tumors.
At the Medical Department of Tokyo University, the National Cancer Center Laboratory and Tokyo College of Pharmacy, animal models with cancerous tumors were fed ABM mushrooms. The cancerous tumors were eliminated in 90% of the animals. Even more astounding, when the animal models were fed ABM as a preventive agent and then afterwards injected with the powerful cancer-causing cell line, Sarcoma 180, 99.4% of them showed no tumor growth, because the cancer cells could not even be successfully embedded.
Researchers at the King Drew Medical Center of UCLA found that ABM mushrooms increase the total number of immune cells throughout the body. Dr. Mamdooh Ghoneum discovered that this mushroom not only increases the number of natural killer cells (NK cells), but also makes each individual NK cell more powerful.
